As the crisp air of autumn moves into the snowy magic of winter, there are so many incredible holiday events in Snohomish and the Eastside that make the Pacific Northwest truly come alive.
1. October: The Snohomish Harvest & “The Valley of Fun”
Snohomish is the unofficial capital of Fall in Washington. Specifically, the valley transforms into a massive playground just a short drive from the Eastside. You will find many holiday events in Snohomish and the Eastside such as these:

Bob’s Corn & Pumpkin Farm: A true PNW tradition. Navigate their 12-acre corn maze or take a hayride. Don’t leave without fresh-roasted corn and cider donuts.

Craven Farm: This is the best spot for families. It features an apple slinger, a 3-D adventure barn, and private fire pit rentals.

Apple Picking at Raising Cane Ranch: Head here for organic u-pick apples. Consequently, it is the perfect way to stock up for homemade pies.

Leavenworth Oktoberfest: If you prefer brews over pumpkins, head over the pass. Specifically, for 2026, the festivities run Oct 2–3, 9–10, and 16–17.
In addition, these farms offer the best way to enjoy the crisp autumn air before the snow arrives.
2. November: Transitions & Tree Lightings
Furthermore, as the pumpkins fade, the lights begin to twinkle. November is all about the “Grand Arrivals.” Specifically, these events set the mood for hot chocolate and crackling fires:

Leavenworth Tree Lighting: The ceremonies in late November are magical. The town is blanketed in over half a million lights.

The Reindeer Farm: This is a must-visit for kids to meet Santa’s team in person.

The Santa Limited (North Bend): The Northwest Railway Museum kicks off its historic train rides. The trip includes cookies and a visit with Santa.

3. December: The Peak Holiday Spirit
By December, the PNW is a full-blown holiday card. Because there is so much to see, here are the top holiday events in Snohomish and the Eastside to visit:

Snowflake Lane (Bellevue): See the nightly parade at 7:00 PM. In fact, it is a 21-year favorite for Eastside residents.

Skiing at Snoqualmie: Hit the slopes by early December. Specifically, night skiing is a great way to decompress.

Snohomish Winterfest: Enjoy the tree lighting and holiday markets in historic downtown.
